Graffiti work in Cardiff.
When using documentary in photography it is used to show a certain side of the world documenting an event or a problem, for example in my final piece I will be documenting graffiti/ street art. The way how these photograph's will show it's audience that it is a documentary piece would be allowing the visual art to be the photographs main vials piece. For example I will be using techniques such as the rule of thirds this causes the audience to look at a certain part of the photograph causing it too take control.
The intended deadline for this piece will be November 14th 2014.
The main focused audience for documenting graffiti/ street art will be people with a general interest in art and the different vocal point within art. This piece particular will not be aiming at such ages as anyone will a reason passion for a different world to look into will be fascinated by the different aspects that this artist as taken.
An indication on the concept and the style that I will be working on when taking the photographs in visual terms will be gritty with an urban effect as these picture will be taken outside in alleys and around more cultural parts of Cardiff city I will be using natural lighting to capture the true image which is being portrayed. There will be no objects or people taking part in these photographs as I want the main focus to be on the art itself.
The quantity of photographs that I will be produces will be four different forms of graffiti/ street art. Each photograph will be placed on a black A1 board between them, the size of the photographs will be 33cm width and 27cm length.
An exhibition will be held on Thursday 6th November for the photographed to be displayed for family and friends to view and Hyde Clarendon Sixth Form college.
when preparing to taking these photographs I will be travelling from Manchester to Cardiff by train this will cost me £50 return. There will be no props involved in taking these photographs which will leave me with the cost of the prints of each picture, this will cost £2.50. In regards of how much money I will be spending when taking these photographs I will be charging for each picture £20.

The photographic application which will be used when taking portraits of a young male will be to show it's audience love and compassion hidden away in a young gentleman by doing so I will be using a red rose used for a metaphor of love. The way how these photographs will signify the look of a portrait is by the way how the model will be posing, for example in one of the photographs which will be taken the model will be leaning against a brick wall looking towards the camera only showing the top half of his body.
The deadline for my final piece will be Friday 14th November.
The intended audience for the portraits will attract a young female audience from the ages of 15-25 as the gentleman which will be used within these photographs is young elegant man this causes females to be more attracted to the pictures as they will want the compassion the photographs will be giving off.
The concept which will be used when using the form of portrait in my photography work will be a dark gritty look with the constant look of red that will be placed with the object of a red rose. With these photographs I will be using natural light which will be from the sun as they will be taking place in the day time. I will be using a young male to give out a soft gentle look towards the audience.
The location for my final piece of portrait will be taking place in Cardiff city Centre, these picture will have a multiple locations such as one position will be placed in an alley, also another location will be on the stairs in the middle of the shopping centre of Cardiff. My main location which will be taking place will be against a cemetery fence.
The quantity of photographs will be three, each one of these photographs will be the size of 33cm width and 27cm Length.
I will be displaying the portraits in an exhibition at Hyde Clarendon Sixth Form college on Thursday 6th november.
As I will be travelling from Manchester to Cardiff by train this will cost me £50 return, the props I will be using will cost be £2.50 will the prints of each picture costing be £2.50. I will be charging for each picture £20

Architecture in Cardiff
The way how my working piece will fit under the terms of architecture photography would be the way how they will be portrayed, for example I will also be capturing certain parts of each building such as the reflection that will be shown from the windows of a building. Each photography will be shown in a different perspective causing it's audience to view the photographs in a strange and curious way to think about the shapes the picture is giving off. There will be no people in the photographs, and no cityscapes.
The deadline for my final piece will be Friday 14th November .
For this particular piece the intended audience will be for both male and female who are interested in architecture and the different ways how building can look when using light and angles. This form of photography will mostly appeal the public of 25 to the ages of 40+ as people within these ages are more open minded to the world they see today.
The concept for my final piece will be the different types of angle of architecture, when doing this I will be using the rule of thirds, so that am able to capture each corner and curves of the building correctly for the use of the audiences eye making it easier for people to understand it's image. When taking these picture the light which will be used will be natural as I will be outside. The location that these pictures will be taking place will be in Cardiff city centre, for example one of the photographs will be taken of the South Wales university building as it is very peculiar building with different shapes and sizes.
The quantity of photographs that I will be produces will be three different building. Each photograph will be placed on a black A1 board between them, the size of the photographs will be 33cm width and 27cm length.
An exhibition will be held on Thursday 6th November for the photographed to be displayed for family and friends to view and Hyde Clarendon Sixth Form college.
When taking these photographs I will be having to travel from Manchester to Cardiff which will cost me £50 return, there will be no material's used when taking these pictures. Printing will cost me £2.50 a piece causing me to charge the public a fee of £25 for each photograph.
Fashion photography analysis
Hello fellow internet users.
There are many different forms of photography such as advertisement, promotional, fashion, photojournalism, portrait, high street studio work, architectural, medical, illustration, fine art and documentary. In my analysis I am going to be talking about three different photographers in fashion photography.
Fashion photography has excited since 1839, fashion has always been around but no one had thought to take actual picture of photography till this time. Fashion in photography is mostly used for advertisement whether they are taking pictures of models walking down the cat walk or taking photographs in a studio.
A photography that I am going to be talking about is Terry Richardson.
Terry Richardson is both a fashion and a portrait photographer. The way how he has captured this picture of a model who looks as if she is in the garden doing her daily gardening it shows a sexy side of gardening which would target the male audience. The lighting that has been used in this photograph would be studio lightning that has been placed in front of her, this is to give of the look of natural lighting. The look that she is going of to the audience would be a fierce independent look with a sexy attitude as she isn't wearing much and you are able to see what underwear she is wearing and there is a lot of skin being shown. She looks as if she is tired as she is leaning back on the fence whilst holding a shovel.
Another fashion photographer would be Norman Parkinson.
An influential fashion photographer would be Nick Knight.
Another fashion photographer would be Norman Parkinson.
Norman Parkinson is a portait and a fashion photographer. The way how Norman Parkinson has captured this particular picture of a woman leaning agaisnt the pillar with her dress ravelled around the pillar causing the woman to show more of her legs creating a more of a wistful look give the audience the impression that this is beautiful and powerful woman by the way she is posing with her arms holder, this type of fashion photo would be used as the cover of a fashion magazine, causing the woman audience wanting to look like this graceful woman.
An influential fashion photographer would be Nick Knight.
Nick Knight is an artistic fashion photographer, his type of work is very powerful and colourful, and is very famous for his work with Vogue. the vision that Nick Knight has captured win this photograph would be a waterfall feel as the colours which have been used are light and dark blues with a touch of pink being overfilled with the colour white, it's as if water is running over the model in a blissful way, the model appearance is if she has come back from the wild as her hair has been blown to create a dangerous look. This creates the audience to to feel as if they are in a rain forest swimming with the wild. In the back ground of the photograph the model look as if she is standing in water as there are raindrops surrounding the bottom of her body.

Documentary photography analysis
Hello fellow internet users.
Keegan Gibbs
There are many different forms of photography such as advertisement, promotional, fashion, photojournalism, portrait, high street studio work, architectural, medical, illustration, fine art and documentary. In my analysis all will be discussing the different documentary photographers and how their work comes across to it's audience.
Documentary photography is a rather popular form of photography, it has been around for many years and is used to capture significant and historical events which are happening around the world. This type of photography is used within the real life reportage and is used within photojournalism when capturing events such as war and crime. It can also be to show the artistic side of the world also such as graffiti work that we see on the streets in our everyday routines.

It can also be to show the artistic side of the world also such as graffiti work that we see on the streets in our everyday routines.
Keegan Gibbs
Keegan Gibbs is a famous graffiti photographer. With this particular picture Keegan Gibbs has captured the visual elements of the graffiti and shows the most sharpest part of the photograph would be the beginning of the graffiti work from the left hand side of the picture. the reason why I would say that this is the most sharpest part of the picture by Keegan Gibbs is because I feel as if Gibbs has shown the boldness of the writing in much more depth creating a more grimy look towards the photograph that he has added the effect of being behind a fence as if the art work which has been taken is out of bounds.
I would say that the lighting that has been used within this photograph would be natural lighting as the picture looks as if it has been taken in the day time being a restricted area outside. The most highlighted part of this particular piece by Gibbs would be at the top right hand side of the photograph as there are more shadows which are shown towards the bottom left hand side of the picture.
Within this picture the most dominant colour that has been used throughout would be the colour red as the pattern being the graffiti writing red. This is significant as this photograph looks as if it has been taken in a hot country and the ground gives of a red sand look.
Robert Frank
Robert Frank is an American photographer and documentary filmmaker. The visual looks that Robert Frank has represented and captured would be the bread which the young girl is holding, I think that the reason why Robert Frank has made this the sharpest point in this particular piece of work is because this causes representation toward hunger back in America when things were once tough. Documenting a young girl that has probably gone out for her mother shows independence towards the country and strength.
I would say that this type of photograph would be used as a form of new maybe in the newspaper or as a poster in the streets of America as this form of documentary sends out an important message towards it's audience.
As this photograph has been taken in black and white the lighting of this particular piece from Robert Frank is not completely visual. I would say that this photograph has been taken in the daytime on the streets of America using natural lighting as if you look towards the top left hand side of the picture you will see that it is more highlighted towards the rest of the photograph. As the light is shining from the left hand side of the picture the sun has been reflected off the building causing a shadow at the right bottom hand side of the picture near what looks to be important posters and newspapers.
Paviani
Paviani specializes in graffiti and street art photography. When analysing Paviani's piece when looking as the visual element of this particular piece I would say that the most sharpest and clearest elements of this photograph would be the black outline that causes the white graffiti writing to stand out as if it was popping out towards it's audience. In this picture Paviani has taken the photograph with someone standing in front of the graffiti work, I feel this is because in this particular piece Paviani is trying to give off the view of a gritty street look of the art world as this person is wearing casual street wear with a black bar across their face so that you can not see who it is.
The colours within this particular piece of artwork is in black and white, this is to give of an urban effect towards the audience. From looking at the brightness of this photograph I would say that the picture has been taken in the day time using natural lighting as it has the urban street look.
Architectural influential photography analysis
Hello fellow internet users.
There are many different forms of photography such as advertisement, promotional, fashion, photojournalism, portrait, high street studio work, architectural, medical, illustration, fine art and documentary. In my analysis I will be discussing the different architectural photographers and how their use of visual effect that are shown when appealing to it's audience.
Architectural photography is a very famous form of photograph, it has been around since the 1800's. This form of photograph is the way of photograph the form and structure of buildings in a creative or formal way to show the aesthetically and accurate way of buildings and techniques in photography.
Berenice Abbott
Architectural photography is a very famous form of photograph, it has been around since the 1800's. This form of photograph is the way of photograph the form and structure of buildings in a creative or formal way to show the aesthetically and accurate way of buildings and techniques in photography.
Andrew Prokos
Andrew Prokos is welling known for his award winning architectural and fine art photographer. when analysing this particular piece of photography, I feel as if Andrew Prokos has made the most sharpest part of this picture would be the centre of the building as I feel as if that this part of the building points out more than there rest going a three diminutional look towards the photograph as if the building is coming out towards it's audience. The way how this particular picture has been taken the building give the photograph a triangular look as the bottom part of the building is much more wider to the rest of the building as you go further up the photograph the building shape becomes thinner create that triangle form also giving the form of a pyramid.
I would say that the lighting within this photography piece by Andrew Prokos would be artificial lighting as the lighting in this photograph if coming from inside of the building. This gives the picture a more night time dreamy looking feel towards the audience as this picture as been taken at the night time. I would also say that the lighting and alluring within this photograph would be filtered as the colours have been more exaggerated and has a slightly more tinted blue towards it.
Hufton and Crow
Hufton and Crow are a duo photographer who are one of the most inspiring and creative architectural photographers that are out there today. The visual elements of this particular piece by Hufton and Crow shows that the most sharpest element of this photograph would be on the inside of the building as it circles around the centre creating a sphere shape towards the photograph. That photograph gives of a clean spacious looks with an alien look as if you were to be in space on a new planet.
I would say that the lighting of this photograph would web natural lighting as this picture has been taken in the day time rom the outside of the building with artificial lighting shining outwards. The most highlighted part of this photograph would be the the top let hand side o the building as the lighting from the sun of coming from the right hand side of the picture which as causing a shadows to appear in the bottom center of the photograph.
Berenice Abbott
Berenice Abbott is a famous American Photograph who is well known for her black and white work with New York architectural landscapes. When analysing this particular piece by Berenice I feel that the most sharpest usual elements of the photograph would be the building that has been placed just of the center of the photograph, this photographer has used the rule of thirds when taken this picture. Why I feel that Berenice has made this particular element the most clearest part of the picture is because it is the most central part of the photograph as it's not completely forward but as you go further back into the picture building start to disappear within the fog of the City.
I would say that this photograph by Berenice Abbott was taken on a winter day in the City centre of New York as if you look further into the picture you can see the foggy weather. From the lighting of the picture I would say that it the picture was taken in the day time with natural lighting. Even though that this photograph has been taken in black and white you can see that the light is shining from the right hand side of the picture as at the bottom of the building on the right you can see a shadow from where the sun hasn't been able to hit the building.
