Shot Types

Hello fellow internet users.

This is a Mid shot that I have taken of Megan Duffield. When using this type of shot is when you are having to interview someone for example if you was at a Football game interviewing someone you would not have to capture facial expressions as much so you would use this type of shot as the audience are able to witness what is happening in the background as being able to listen to what the interviewee is saying.

This is a medium up shot that was taken of Haydn Hamilton. This type of shot would be used when interviewing someone such as if you was to interview someone for a documentary factual so that you were able to capture the full feel of the emotions that that are showing on their face.

This is a over the shoulder shot which was taken of Shaff Islam. This type of shot would be used when interviewing someone for a news report, this gives the audience the effect that their are a professional interviewer asking the important question for an expert point of view or maybe an eye witness.

This type of shot is a Weather shot from Hyde Clarendon Sixth Form College. You would use this type of shot when filming a wether cast, these shots are useful to tell the local public what the weather is like outside.

This shot is a Point of view shot, from another person perspective. These type of shots will be used by a reporter if he is reporting on a local spread, this is so the audience call get a full feel of the story which is being told.

This is a Two shot that I have taken of Cindy Delgado and Lydia Drew. These type of shot will be used in an interview, for example if you was to interview someone for reviewing maybe a new clothing line, this way you get two answers in one.

This is an extreme close up of Megan Duffield. With an extreme shot, these are usually found whether you was interviewing someone so that you can get a true visual in how they are feeling, or even in a film, these type of shot will be used if the character is going off to war, this way you can capture the anger in their ayes.

This is a Close up which was taken of Lydia Drew. These type of shot you would find that they can be used when interviewing someone, a close up is great to capture the way how the interviewee positions them self and they way their face looks when answering a question and you can see the facial structure more closely.

This type of shot is a wide shot of Cindy Delgado. These shots are used when you are having to capture someone maybe having to do an exercise so that you are able to view how the body works with each movement, these can be used in advertisements.
